Mother's Day 2021

Feels good to be able to eat out with the kids this time for Mother's day.

Also, I received the prettiest Flower Cupcakes from a dear friend! It felt nice to have been thought of and be sent something so delicious (although, I hesitated at first because it seemed too pretty to eat!).

Because of the pandemic last year, a lot of the days that we wanted to celebrate were spent at home; though it wasn't bad! It just feels good to have a breath of fresh air and not have to wash dishes or have so much trash accumulate from cooking at home.

I’ve been wanting to re-visit La Tegola for the lonnggeesstt time but keep forgetting about this place. Gladly, my husband remembered and called them up to make a reservation. It was quite an early dinner, but we wanted to go here when it wouldn’t be too crowded and there was still some Sun light.

Loved the food! Just wish they had high chairs.

What we ordered :

  • Half n’ Half of Quattro Formaggi and Quattro Stagioni Pizza (For me and the husband)

  • Margerita Pizza (for the kids)

  • Spinach Ravioli

  • Carbonara

  • Mushroom Soup

  • Iced Tea

Drinks :

  • Mango Shake

  • Bottled Water

I grew up in “quite” a big family so I’ve always been used to seeing a lot of food on the table and that kinda stuck with me even to this day. I’d order food good for a family of more than 4 and when the food arrives, it’s only then that I realize I’ve ordered too much. But, it’s all good! I love that we can take home food because I get hungry fast and we’ll have food at home (that doesn’t need cooking!)

Happy that we got to eat out :)

I’m wondering what our options will be for Mother’s day next year!
