Thanks, 2020

It’s the last day of 2020.

Given how the year has been, with ‘Rona and all, I have to say that it wasn’t all bad.

Having worked from home for years, I guess my life hasn’t been too drastically affected.

With 2020 coming to an end, it’s safe to say that it isn’t ending as bad as we mostly thought it would be.

This year has actually given me more things to cherish; my 2nd daughter, Anastasia, Work (especially since I got hired and started working just 6 weeks after giving birth), The start to my family’s homeschooling journey (My eldest is now officially enrolled and we’re homeschooling!), Discovering and owning the Air Fryer!, and even being able to take the kids to the beach just very recently (my youngest’s 1st beach experience!).

Now, in the early morning of new year’s eve, I’m even more grateful that I get to be with my family, that we’re safe, healthy (in a sense; I’m not exactly at my best “fit” self and sleepless nights are still so real; I’ve an 8 month old), and that I can continue to keep folding our clean laundry in silence (sometimes).

Still, 2020 you gave us some real shit there. Hope you keep ‘Rona with you and not pass it on to 2021! Please?
