Doom scrolling and building habits
I’m trying to build the habit of consuming less content and creating more content. I turn to social media a lot, for both work and personal use, but while on there, I tend to find something that sparks immediate interest and I find myself doom scrolling.
Life Tip : Don't Delete Photos!
It’s not about vanity - it’s because memories are fleeting and more often than not, I was too critical of myself in the moment to think that maybe my older self would appreciate a photo of me; You know, to see my growth, the life I’ve lived, and be able to reflect how things are now versus how they’ve been.
Kids love to interact
So you’ve been at home for who knows how long and the entire family seems to have adjusted to “staying at home”, then you decide to go out and meet some relatives (safely) and the first thing that happens is the kids gravitating towards each other; Have you noticed?
Normalize every part of parenthood
Parent shamers and irrelevant people, especially if you've never been an "active" parent (IYKYK), who comment things that don't make anyone or any situation better, this is for you
Thanks, 2020
It’s the last day of 2020.
Given how the year has been, with ‘Rona and all, I have to say that it wasn’t all bad.
Practice empathy
The goal is to nurture our kids and provide a safe haven for them. A place where they can make any mistake and not be condemned - so they can learn and do better. We must be kind and accommodating in all moments, good and bad, so they can grow up and understand the same.
Awake while the rest are sleeping
It's raining and everyone is asleep. The cold is making me feel warm and the silence feels nostalgic. This moment is quite rare and here I am spending it by blogging. Well, this is what makes it nostalgic for me.
